The UK's Most Relaxing Theme Park Rides

Oddly enough when heading to a theme park, you don't often think about the attractions there being... well... relaxing.

However it's always nice to take a break and step back from the madness of a busy park to to chill for a few mins.

So with that being said, here are a few of my personal favourite recommendations!

3. Fairy Tale Brooke

Easily one of my favourite boat rides in the UK!

Whether you experienced this as a child or as an Adult... it's been a family staple for years!

Rightly so too!

Who doesn't like a leisurely calm boat ride with some of your fairytale friends!

Plus this is one of those attractions that boasts stunning theming and scenery.. from the towers of sleeping beauty.. to the cave of wonders!

This attraction totally deserves it's place in this list!

2. Blackpool Pleasure Beach Express Train

Ok so I was a total skeptic of this one...

Until the wonderful Ryan from Theme Park Loopy suggested that we must go on the train ride.

Naively I Rolled my eyes, thinking what's so great about a train ride....

Oh how wrong I was!

This train ride is amazing, moving so close next to some of the park's biggest coasters, even THROUGH The Big One!

It's calming, relaxing... but most importantly the views are unlike anything else in the UK!

I truly don't think you could get closer to some coasters than on this train ride!

I highly recommend giving this a go to any coaster or theme park fans alike!

1. The Sky Ride

Ah Yes, the good old Sky ride!

To some it's a waste of time.. but in turn you only realise it's not when you are climbing back up that valley!

This is a bubble lift / cable car ride that transports guests across Alton Towers theme park.

The vantage point and viewpoint from the cars are breathtaking!

With stunning views of the coasters, landscaping and not to mention the chase to sit down for longer than a minute is a dream come true!

I used to always skip this out when I was younger.. not understanding the beauty of it.

But now it is safe to say.. this attraction is a must do... Even if it is quicker to walk occasionally ;)
