With the situation around the world being as it is, we are all wanting some theme park fun, but nothing is open!
But please don't worry, there are loads of things we can discover in this time, ready for when your favourite park opens back up.
Now Im not really one for reading, but if the material is about theme parks? Im Game!
So I thought I would suggest my top 3 theme park reads, to help you get through the murky field of coaster frustration.
All of these books can be found in stores or online very easily and range in price.
( Just for disclosure, I have in no way been paid, sponsored or even asked, to recommend any of these titles. These are just some I have read and really enjoyed )

3). THEME PARK DESIGN AND THE ART OF THEMED ENTERTAINMENT - DAVID YOUNGER
This fantastic book is almost an encyclopaedia for an in depth look at how theme parks are created.
This is a very, very.... (one more) VERY... heavy book and read so I suggest you dip in and out when you please.
This book covers everything from food and beverage to entertainment and rides, believe me its all in here!
I highly suggest this as a read!
2). ADVENTURES IN AMITY: TALES FROM JAWS THE RIDE - DUSTIN McNEIL
As the name suggests this book goes into the rich history of the classic attraction.
From the design, the the script and some hilarious stories to match!
if your like me and a huge fan of universal then this book will definitely please!
Be warned it's another thick one, but rest assured you won't find a more accurate and wonderful source of information anywhere else, surrounding this attraction!
1). STORIES FROM A THEME PARK INSIDER
So at my number one spot hits this fantastic book, its a personal account of Theme Park Insider's Robert Niles time working for the mouse.
This amusing collection of short anecdotes will have you rolling your eyes and in stitches of laughter!
Its a great read, fairly short and one you won't want to put down!
WRAP UP
There you go my Top 3 reads for you all, give them a read and say goodbye to the theme park blues... at least for a short while!
Have you got some other great suggestions? What do you do to help the theme park Blues?
