Fraispertuis City: France's Wild West Theme Park, You've Probably Never Heard Of!

Tucked away in the French country side is a park filled with Wild West fun!

Fraispertuis City is exactly that. It's a small park with so much charm and a load of great theming!

Until a few weeks ago, I had never heard of this park before... so I decided to look into what was on offer here...

What I initially thought, could be a potentially cheap, less American knockoff of Fronterland ended up leaving me very surprised!

So Let's Talk about it, what does this park have to entice it's visitors?!

Coasters?!

Let's not lie now, for some enthusiasts the level and amount of coasters a park has, can be for some the deciding factor of a visit.

Well you all will be pleased to know, this park has 3 coasters on offer.

Timber Drop

This is a S&S 'EL Loco' with 2 inversions and some serious hang time!

Rest assured that this coaster makes the park, worth the visit alone, you can get your thrills on this ride!

Some could compare this to a similar coaster 'Mumbo Jumbo' at Flamingo Land here in the UK.

Le Grand Canyon

This is a Soquet mine train style coaster.

With a classic layout and some great theming, this might not quite be the wildest ride in the wilderness, but it sure does come close!

Ronde des Rondins

A small Jr coaster that will satisfy and thrill the younger thrill seekers, or those who perhaps don't fancy all the thrill of 'Timber Drop'

Theming?!

Theming is what makes or breaks a park! For me personally it is one of the most important things to judge a park on!

It makes that first impression and also gives you an idea of how much of an investment the park is for it's owners.

So yes this park is fantastic for theming, with Wild West style buildings, saloon shows, rocky mountains... its a splendour for the eyes!

Shows?!

Coming from a career in theme park and immersive entertainment, shows, parades and street theatre are always a must for me on any park visit.

The good news is, even this is a smaller, a perhaps, lesser known park within Europe, it still keeps the level of entertainment high in quality and quantity!

With live music from the park's own band and local musicians, plus street theatre and roaming characters, this park has a great mix of entertainment offerings.

Wrap Up

So there we have it, a kind of brief look into a very interesting smaller park in Europe!

There is something I love about finding new parks, discovering info and learning all about why they are ( or in some cases) perhaps not so great!

It's safe to say, I will be making a stop here, when I am next in France!

Have you been to this park? what are your new discoveries?
