Who Manufactures That?!: A Few Of Europe's Strangest Coasters You Have To Ride!
Something I love when visiting a theme park is finding a coaster, that is so totally strange I have to first ride it... and second do some re-search after!
There is nothing quite like riding a wonderfully weird coaster not knowing what's around the bend!
While I realise there are lots to choose from out there, Im going to pick my personal top 3 recommendations.
Please remember as always these are just my opinions, not everyone will share the same views and that is the best part about being in the coaster community.... debate!
So with that being said... Let's get right into it!
Frankly I love it, while the actual track layout is simple (some even may say boring) it's the dark ride sections that create feeling and emotions I have never felt before on a rollercoaster.
While I will not give away any spoilers, I have never felt more alone, scared and vulnerable on a ride before.. with people even sitting next to me!
Manufactured by Kumback Rides and with the immense show design, set pieces and incredible theming this had to end on up on here!

Arthur - Europa Park / Germany
This coaster is one of only a few that exists in the world!
Is a suspended powered coaster manufactured by Mack Rides... so no surprise you can find this one at Europa Park.
With its timing, speed and wonderful theming, you can fly in and out of big set pieces and have some fairly thrilling moments.
Perhaps what makes it so special though, is the unexpected intensity it brings... to the untrained coaster rider, this could seem like a children's, story based dark ride.... and while there are some of those elements involved.. this coaster is so much more!
Tornado - Bakken / Denmark
Time for another strange one.... this coaster is a variation on a spinning coaster!
Now wild most of us will have at some point experienced a more traditional spinning coaster... this Intamin totally re-invents the cars in which you sit in.
Facing each other, in an almost stretched style car, this will take you for a spin, like you have never experienced.
Due to the odd shaping, the forces intensify considerably... hold on tight and have fun!
The Flying Dutchman - Efteling / Netherlands
I have spoken a lot in the past about this ... 'Coaster'.... ' water-coaster'...'log flume'.... Whatever you want to call it!Frankly I love it, while the actual track layout is simple (some even may say boring) it's the dark ride sections that create feeling and emotions I have never felt before on a rollercoaster.
