3 in one! The Awesome Family Coaster That Does It All!

I don't know about you, but so many times its hard to find a coaster that appeals for both the family market and the thrill seeker market...

What I mean by that is, too often, thrill-seekers will jump on a family coaster and claim it's too boring... likewise with family's not wanting to go on thrilling rides... this means park goers are split up, groups are divided and all chaos assumes .... well... no really..

Nothing says a fun family trip like sitting on a top, thrilling coaster.. with a bunch of strangers...

Here is where this article comes into play, because I wanted to highlight one of the MANY there are out there in parks across the world.

Today, Im focusing on 'Big Grizzly Mountain Runaway Mine Cars' .... Yes, not only is it the longest name for a coaster... but I feel it's a perfect example of hitting the nail on the head with the above issue.

The Coaster

So First of all lets get some of the basics out the way:

Location: Hong Kong Disneyland

Manu: Vekoma

Model: Custom

got all that... good

Perhaps what makes this coaster stand out from the rest is the fact it is so well hidden inside elements of theming!

The track hugs the terrain, and hides itself, apart from moments of exposure to the outside world... which might I add, all are moments when the trains are moving in the same direction... which I love, as it keeps the secrets of the experience from viewers who didn't want to brave the mountains.

3 In One!

Ok so remember I mentioned the 3 in one thing, well this coaster does just that...

* spoilers ahead *

Within your journey on this coaster you will travel forwards, backwards and even a launch!!

This coaster is bonkers, you are flying through caves and tunnels at wild speeds!

This is a perfect example of a ride that works for both audiences and something that Disney and Universal does so well!

It's gotta be seen to be believed!

Wrap Up:

All in all, this coaster is worth  a mention and a highlight!

Have you experienced this coaster? What coaster do you think is a great family and thrill machine?
